Compost: We collect food scraps (excepting meat and dairy) and compost them in Philadelphia. Contact pedalcoop@gmail.com if interested in composting with us.

Donate to a Reuse Center: Consider donating your old clothes, books, school supplies, and household items to thrift stores! If you have a large load, let us know and we can haul it to the Re-Use Center by bike!

Household Hazardous Waste: Philadelphia hosts monthly household hazardous waste drop off days. Residents should bring the following items to the drop-off facilities – paint, gasoline, kerosene, batteries, drain cleaners, CFLs, pesticides, fertilizers. Locate a ReStore Location: ReStore locations will accept leftover supplies from your home improvement project or building deconstruction.

Electronics Recycling:
Computer Recycling: Nonprofit Technology Resource 1524 Brandywine St., Accepts computers, monitors, printers, and peripherals.
Cell Phone Recycling: Women in Transition in Center City accepts cell phone donations, reprogramming them to assist women who have experienced sexual violence.
